Theresa May: Fani- Kayode ridicules Pres. Buhari as Nigeria becomes the poorest country



Ex Aviation Minister, Femi Fani-Koyode, has slammed President Muhammadu Buhari over the comment made by the British Prime Minister, Theresa May on Nigeria’s poverty index.

The Prime Minister, yesterday, said in South Africa that Nigeria was the home of more poor people than any other nation in the world.

Fani-Koyode, ridiculed Buhari while reacting to the comment of the Prime Minister.

In a tweet, Fani-Kayode wrote: “87 million Nigerians live below $1 and 90 cents a day, making it home to more very poor people than any other nation in the world – PM Theresa May of the UK.

“In June, the Brookings Institute named Nigeria the poverty capital of the world, overtaking India.

“Clap for Buhari!”
