Four lives have been lost following the auto crashes in FCT



According to reports, accidents in different locations, Abaji and Gwarinpa , took the lives of the four in the Federal Territory during the weekend.

The accidents that happened on Friday night at Naharati village, near Abaji  gave two injuries.



According to the eye witness, it occurred at about 8.29p.m and three vehicles were involved, a Daf truck with registration FGE 102 ZH, a Nissan car with registration number DH 891 ABC, and a Toyota Carina with registration number LKJ 331 BF.

The eye witness said the driver of the Daf truck coming from Lokoja all of a sudden lost dictation after catching up with another vehicle and hitted the two vehicles.

He said FRSC later came to the spot to carry the corpses and other injured persons to the hospital.

Abaji Unit commander of the FRSC, Assistant corps commander, Olasupo Esuruoso, affirmed to the report of the eye witness.

He further said it was caused by too much speeding and incorrect overtaking, and they have been carried to the hospital.
